  Best ribs I've ever had in my life. Dry-rub but with some great BBQ sauce to slather on top if that's your wish. Great spicy mustard slaw that comes with it as well.

  Delicious food, great atmosphere, great service. It's within walking distance of most of the downtown hotels. It's tucked into an alley, so it's actually easier to find walking than driving. Like everything downtown, you will most likely have to pay for parking in one of the many structures and lots.

  The BBQ gumbo served on Fridays and Saturdays should be be on the menu. It was delicious. I ordered the pork butt sandwich (they call it a shoulder which is correct but not as cool). It was really good. I prefer a lot more bark but it was still tasty. The sauce is sweet but not quite like KC which I prefer. The sauce was good. The beans were top notch. I didn't like the slaw. It was too sweet. I sat at the bar and my service was excellent. I will definitely be back on my next layover. I just hope it's on a Friday or Saturday for the gumbo.
