  While food was good and well presented, the ambience was poor considering it was at the Peabody. You felt like you were eating in a Holiday Inn's restaurant with bright lights and tables all laid out in a grid. The service was extremely poor. The hostess first tried to seat us in at be booby table.. the one right by the most heavily traveled area of the restaurant. When asked to have another seat, got attitude, but did get another seat. The waiter had to be prompted on the specials and had to ask twice for wine list. Ordered an appetizer... and waited 45 minutes for it to show up.. The wine and complimentary bread showed up fairly quickly, but staring at an empty bread basket waiting for the appetizer wasn't fun. Parts of the appetizer were hot, parts were cold, when all should have been hot. For the entrees, asked to add a side that was not on the menu (i.e. pasta) and they made a big deal because of it. This was billed as an Italian Steakhouse, they had pasta dishes, I ordered meatballs and they didn't want to add a side of pasta... After talking to the kitchen, the waiter said it would be OK, but would delay the entree. The food once it arrived tasted excellent, but that was the last time we saw any wait staff until I flagged one down to pay. The waiter then tried to convince us to purchase a dessert, but he couldn't tell us what was available and said he would get a menu if we were interested. We just asked for the check and went next door and got dessert.

  I recently dined here for Sunday brunch. Five minutes before they opened, servers were setting tables, chatting, enjoying themselves. Five minutes AFTER opening, another person waiting tracked down a manager to start seating. The process was rather disorganized, and 10 minutes after opening and past my reservation I was seated. Service was leisurely, and inconsistent between the staff. I never knew drinks were included (mimosa, coffee, tea, soda) or that I could have an omelet made until I heard another server inform their table. I listened as my server greeted two nearby tables and that information wasn't included for them either. I received one water refill during the 70 minutes I dined, and only saw my server twice after seated (once about 10 minutes after being seated, and a second time when I received the bill). The food was good and offered a wide selection of cold salads and fruit. The "breakfast station" was small and offered breakfast staples. The "brunch station" offered an interested selection of bbq ribs, cocktail shrimp, fried shrimp, baked chicken, prime rib, fried ravioli, calamari, and some other items. The "dessert station" had an incredible assortment of small cakes, pastries, bread pudding, and ice cream. The dark chocolate covered bacon with peanut butter was phenomenal...try it! Overall, I wouldn't say it was $40 good, but it was a good meal.

  1st time here and definitely will not be the last everything was great from the time we were greeted by the host to the waiter( Lee )ask for him he kept the mimosas flowing and the food was great breakfast,lunch and dinner portions(Sunday Brunch) was a winner with me!!! I will definitely be back
