  Ehh... the awkward exchange between the barista was enough to make me not come back. Had the coffee been better I might. But it was mediocre at best.

  I love hanging out in Java Cabana whenever I visit Memphis. I really feel connected to the local community there. This cool, funky little place has poetry readings on Thursdays where you can easily meet new people. They have a vintage clothes corner for some sweet finds and make sure you try their signature Lavender mocha!!

  Great coffee shop I've been coming to since I was a kid. Delicious drinks and good food make up for any shabby furniture. Also hosts showcases for local artists and is a communing place for Cooper-Young. Bonus has hipster cred because it's been unchanged despite Cooper-Young's recent bout of yuppiness.
