  Place was recommended highly by many people. I arrived in town about 9pm on a Friday night. I drove over to Marlowes and was met by a door man asking for ID and loud rap music coming from inside.
  
  Surprisingly the location turns into a club/bar atmosphere on weekend nights. A quick look inside revealed a rowdy bar crowd. It didn't look like people were really dining at all, just drinking.
  
  I decided to forego visiting and ordering since it was going to be like eating in a bar with a loud music playing.
  
  This place is well known for the pink Cadillac shuttle available to those staying at select hotels. When I was told they were open late, I figured it was going to still be business as usual, but I was wrong.

  Not the fanciest place to visit, but certainly has the decor that says your in Memphis, home of Elvis. The service was great. Thank you Drew for making sure we were kept happy and for your meal suggestions. Fall off the bone pork ribs, deliciously tender brisket, tasty sautéed mushrooms, and a great locally brewed bottled beverage, made for an excellent eating experience. Our wait for food was average. Waiting to be seated took just the time to clear a table. If you visit while Sessions, a local soul/r&b band is playing, holy cow are you in for a treat. They made the atmosphere extremely fun. Great sound!! When you visit Memphis, make sure to make Marlowe's one of your eating options...just minutes from Graceland.
