  I was so looking forward to trying this restaurant, and wanting to like it, but I was so disappointed. Everything was presented well, but completely under seasoned. The shrimp scampi appetizer had six large, well cooked shrimp, but no garlic flavor, and it was in a watery red colored liquid with a few sliced mushrooms. This was NOT what I was anticipating. The house salad had a bland "Italian" dressing that looked more like a broken thousand island dressing. The chicken parmesan was pretty to look at, but that is unfortunately the best thing I can say about this bland tasting entree. The asparagus I ordered instead of pasta was also well cooked, but absolutely no seasoning. I usually stay in East Memphis when in town, and have come to appreciate the Italian food at Brooklyn Bridge and Ciao Bella, and was this hoping to have a similar tasting experience at Villa Castrioti, but this was sadly not the case.

  My daughter and I went here for dinner. There were very few people in the restaurant during peak dinner time...never a good sign.
  Ordered spaghetti. Overpriced for disappointing meal. Service was good, but hovered too much.
  Ambiance nice.
  Will not be back.

  Ate there last night. Ordered the pizza with no mushrooms, but onions instead. Pizza came out with mushrooms with no onions. People make mistakes....ok. But what they did after is the most low class move I have seen. They picked the mushrooms off my pizza in the kitchen, then put fresh cut, never hit the oven, onions on my pizza, and returned it to me 4 min later. We had a party of 15.
