  Eating was a bit awkward, components weren't bite-sized and had to ask for a fork (they had chopsticks; I had trouble dismantling the slice of BBQ pork, which would have been extraordinarily difficult with chopsticks). It seemed that the assumption is that the customers knew how to go about eating ramen, as we weren't even asked if we'd dined there before. The food was fine, but nothing special. My fellow diner asked for a ramen add-in that was advertised as snow crab, but was imitation crab. The location was cold and they kept opening the back door to air out the kitchen, which made the whole dining room quite breezy. The bar attendant was singing along to the music, which might contribute to the atmosphere, but I thought it a bit weird.

  My friends and I came here a couple days ago and I absolutely loved the atmosphere. It's small and quaint, it was a beautiful day outside as well and they had the door propped open. The food was wonderful and my friends tried the flights. It was great.

  I lived in Japan for 11 years, and this place is the closest to authentic ramen I've had in Memphis. Aside from having great food and drinks, I go back regularly because of the great service we get from Nikita. She's very personable and attentive, but not in a way that is annoying. She makes sure we have everything we need and always has good recommendations! She's really gets to know her regulars and is definitely one of the reasons we keep coming back. Great food, great drinks, and great service. What more could you ask for?
