  First off the one star rating is not for the quality of the food or the friendliness of the staff... the staff was exceptionally friendly and personalble but that obviously wasn't my concern. Management of the restaurant was repulsive to its lower employees. As a nosy individual, I kept my ears open during my visit because of the unpleasant words that the manager said to one of the male employees working up front. It was a scolding of one of the employees for something so minor that I felt bad for the worker and the other employees. They seemed very stressed because of the foul mood of their boss. Even other customers and I exchanged looks. I live close to this establishment and will probably not return. I've had my run the the food industry and I hate to see employees treated unfairly.

  One of our new favorite BBQ joints! Ribs = flavorful, juicy and cooked perfect. Pork = great flavor & juicy.....not dry at all! Brisket = amazing! Juicy, smoked perfectly and excellent flavor. Chicken = amazing! Juicy, great flavor and cooked perfectly. Sausage = it wasn't our fav. Need to change the sausage brand/recipe.....it's too fatty. Peach cobbler = amazing! We recommend adding Ice Cream to the menu to pair with the cobbler.

  Service was great, friendly and fast. The 1 star is for the horrible tasting bbq. I just don't want visitors to think that this is what Memphis BBQ is supposed to taste like. To each his own I know but this was not for me. Great atmosphere and I was so looking forward to pulling down my shoulder strap after some good food but alas, I left disappointed.
