  I'm Jamaican and I know what authentic Jamaican food taste like and this isn't it. The brown stew chicken was suppose to be sweet and spicy and it didn't taste like brown stew chicken at all; more like cheap store bought seasoning sprinkled on some wings. The rice and peas were hard and there was absolutely no gravy on the chicken or rice and believe me Jamaicans LOVE gravy. Carribean people always give you a lot of food for your buck and the portions were extremely small. You also have to buy the cabbage seperate which is something I NEVER experienced eating at a Jamaican restaurant. On top of it all the prices are high and you hardly get any food. I called in to let the manager know the problem and she offered to give me a complimentary desert. I explained to her that I don't eat sweets and then offered to just give me rice... That was too funny and insulting since I paid $30 for two small plates of food that gave me heart burn and didn't taste anything like real Jamaican food. Very disappointed that this is the only Jamaican spot in Memphis. A big rip off and they are cheap when it comes to running their business. Also be aware they charge you a carry out fee for each item... Like really!!!

  I love it, I love it, I love it. I'm not usually a fan of Jamaican food but with the southern twist this is by far one of my new favorite resturants. I love EVERYTHING on the menu. Don't change a thing.
