  Went for downtown dining week. Food was decent at best. Had a 4 course meal. The first course was shrimp or bacon wrapped jalapeño. The jalapeños were good, but the shrimp was okay and the avocado served with it was very hard(could barely cut with my fork!). The second course was a salad. Nothing special here. The main course I really wanted to try their oxtail tacos, but they did not have them ready, nor did our waiter tell us before we ordered (she mentioned it after my wife ordered and I as I asking for them). This was a pretty big upset. I went with the shrimp and grits. The grits were very bland although the shrimp was pretty good. Served with a crunchy bread which went well with the dish. I had the brownie for dessert, which was the best part of the meal.
  
  I would not recommend as a dinner spot.
  
  Scenery was very nice. Attached to Earnestine & Hazel's so you get old brick and dim lighting. Well worth to go in and have a drink or 2 at the bar just to check this very neat place out!
  
  Live music from Adam Levin was great. Nice pianist that can play all sorts of music.

  The food was ok. The reason for the low rating is because of the server. Apparently you can order a burger from Earnestine & Hazel's, the restaurant next door. Half our party order a burger from there. The issue for us was the server didn't place that order until the other half of the party got their food from 5 spot. The waiter then jokingly said should've ordered from us (5 spot). What a douche. Maybe they shouldn't be offering that service if they can't handle it. Needless to say I felt pretty good about giving him a $0 dollar tip.
